Adventures in Illustrator pt.2

Today I decided to tackle illustrator's Perspective Grid tool, which admittedly was a bit more frustrating than yesterday's gradient mesh exercise. However, all in all I learned a lot about it's quirks and limitations, and was able to apply some of what I learned yesterday as well.
In this case, rather than following an existing tutorial, I decided on my own custom vintage turntable. I also made my own hand-drawn tiling woodgrain pattern and plaid speaker mesh. Can't say I wasn't met with some pretty frustrating bumps along the way, but I'm pretty happy with the final product. Very much different from anything else in my portfolio!
